Marcos Baghdatis Breaks Four Racquets

If you missed the days John McEnroe used to go ballistic at the umpires or when he used to smash his racquets on the floor – well meet Marcos Baghdatis, he is a professional at taking his frustration on random objects laying around.
Marcos Baghdatis whose picture should appear in the dictionary under the expression sore-loser broke not one, not two but four racquets in a row after realizing that the match his playing against Stanislas Wawrinka at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Wednesday night was not going to end well for him.
The Cypriot who is currently the world’s 44th ranked men’s tennis player threw a tantrum after losing the second set against the Swiss that surprised many fans sitting at the Margaret Court Arena.
While sitting on his bench, Marcos Baghdatis violently smashed the two racquets which he believed made him lose the sets, when he realized that it was not enough he picked up two brand new ones that were still wrapped in plastic and destroyed them.
The angry tennis player went to eventually lose the match by a score of 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 5-7 6-1 and was hit with an $800 fine for his behavior.
