Daylight Savings Time 2012 : Spring Forward Time Change
It is that time of the year again, Daylight Saving Time 2012 will take effect at 2 AM on Sunday morning in America. Americans are asked to push their clocks one hour forward to save energy.
Technically this means when its 2 AM, the clocks will be moved to 3 AM. This time change will remain in place till November 4, 2012 when we will move the clocks backward.
Experts do not agree on the utility of daylight saving time, some say that gains are very slim and the system should be dropped others argue that small benefits for energy consumption is better than nothing.
It is necessary to point out that changing the clock can have some negative effects where you don’t expect.
For example farmers who rely quite a bit on the sun always advocated against the idea.
Make sure you turn your clocks to 3 AM, when its 2 this morning.
