Jenna Talackova Disqualified: Transgender Miss Universe Canada Scandal
Despite the fact that she has been benefiting from a very big support group, Jenna Talackova has officially been booted out of the Miss Universe Canada competition – and not for the reasons one would imagine when you look at her bikini pictures.
The organization disqualified Jenna Talackova not for nude pics nor for past controversial comments but because she was born a man.
While Miss Jenna Talackova appears to be a woman – with all feminine features in place – she was originally a man who came to the conclusion that at the age of 4 that he wanted to be a lady – so at 14 he began hormone therapy and at 19 he underwent gender reassignment surgery to complete the very convincing transformation.
The Donald Trump produced pageant which has eliminated all pictures and bios of Jenna Talackova from their official site released a statement attempting to explain why the transgender was removed :
“Jenna Talackova from Vancouver, British Columbia will not compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada competition because she did not meet the requirements to compete despite having stated otherwise on her entry form. We do however, respect her goals, determination and wish her the best.”
Miss Jenna Talackova has hired a lawyer and is vowing to fight the organization – she might have a winning case in her hand because the application form for the contest does not ask to specify one’s gender and does not ask any questions about undergoing female-to-male gender transition.
