Sledge Hammer: Tasered Porn Star Dies
Actor Marland Anderson died on Tuesday in a Los Angeles hospital four days after a failed suicide attempt that lead to police officers using a Taser to stun him several times.
According to his longtime girlfriend Alexa Cruz, the adult star who is known as Sledge Hammer smoked marijuana on Sunday which made him ill.
Cruz explained that Marland who suffered from depression and schizophrenia became very paranoid and tried to harm himself.
When paramedics arrived on the scene, the adult star fought with them, broke his handcuffs which prompted them to taser him several times.
Sledge Hammer who also suffered from extreme paranoia and anxiety was in a coma for the last few days and when doctors explained to his mother that he would never recuperate she decided to remove him from life support.
The autopsy results are pending as the LAPD investigate whether or not the star was over tased.
