Dolphins Killed After Swiss Ravers Gave Them Drugs
A group of people partying at a Swiss zoo killed a pair of dolphins by giving them drugs.
Swiss authorities are claiming that the partyers who rented the Connyland marine park in Lipperswil back in November for a rave took the festivities too far by feeding the dolphins named Shadow and Chelmers a drug called Buprenorphine.
An autopsy on the creatures revealed that the Buprenorphine made the dolphins unconscious and were therefore unable to swim to the surface to breathe and drowned.
Activists had tried to prevent the party from taken place at the zoo because they feared the loud techno music would harm the animals.
