A man by the name of Vern Traversie is claiming that a hospital staff whom he quarreled with decided to punish him by stamping him with the letters KKK.

Vern Traversie, a blind native American from South Dakota sat down with several local news stations where he shared his story.

Traversie stated that he was taken to the Traversie Rapid City Regional Hospital in August of 2011 after suffering a heart attack and underwent open heart surgery.

The man who lives in the Cheyenne River Reservation went on to share that he was in an execrating pain and asked a nurse for more painkillers and apparently his requests angered the employee who took his revenge on his stomach.

Traversie alleges that a female nurse told him that as soon as he leaves the hospital to take pictures of his body.

Lifting up his shirt, the 69-year-old exposed what looked like cigarettes burns, scratches, wounds that could have been made with a knife and KKK.

Native American communities have been rallying and demanding that actions be taken against the surgeon who committed the hateful crime.

But Rapid City police official claimed that no crimes were committed.
